Asylum Records 62030-2, 1997
"When I first heard Tina and the B-Side Movement in Minneapolis about three years ago, I had an immediate flashback to the time I first saw k.d.lang perform i Edmonton, Alverta. Tina is not really country, but we needed a real rocker for one scene; when I asked her to record Brenda Lee's "Sweet Nothin's", she was quick to jump on board. I am very grateful to k.d.lang, one onf the most talented artists I ever had the privilege of working with, for allowing us to use her version of "Seven Lonely Days," originally a hit for Bonnie Lou on King Records and Geogia Gibbs in the pop field in 1953. k.d's version, produced several years ago by Andy Paley, features background vocals by arguably the world's greatest a cappella group, Take 6.
