Absolute Torch and Twang

kd's last country album released in 1989. This album earned her second Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocalist. But it's obvious that what she tried here was not the traditional country music. Even if you aren't a country fan, and if you listen to such marvelous songs like "Trail Of Broken Hearts" and "Nowhere To Stand", you would be sure to love them, and you could imagine the wide plains and her family town. They say kd sang the rock version of "If I Were You" in All You Can Eat tour, when you listen to "Didn't I" in this album, you could find her talent toward rock music as well. What? you have this one already? Then how about a bootleg "Angel With a Lariat"? Because, for example, kd is singing "Big Boned Gal" in a different way, like a musical or something.
